We hope you’ve been enjoying the Valor 2.0 Competitions Bonanza that kicked off in World 73. If you didn’t make it into World 73, don’t freak out! There is still one more chance to get in on the Bonanza! Join World 74 before it closes!
Ok, I’ve said Bonanza twice already (now three times) without defining exactly why you should care. A Competitions Bonanza means:
- Better prizes
- Concurrent Competitions
To celebrate Valor 2.0, we are holding these on Worlds 73 and 74 back to back. Once these conclude on World 74, Competitions will run at their standard pace (one at a time) and payout structure (a bit less Gold).
Don’t fret though, Bonanzas will appear from time to time on all Worlds (we haven’t forgotten about the older Worlds). This means that every player will have the chance to partake in them at some point. No one is getting left out. When will they run? It could be any time so be vigilant. It also couldn’t hurt to check in on special occasions. Think holidays, Valor milestones, etc.
Bottom line: If you missed out on World 73, then World 74 is your next chance to join in on the Competitions Bonanza. Be on the lookout for when we kick one off in your World.
Chaos
As you know, Worlds that open from now on will have the new Chaos changes built into them. In other words, starting with World 75, the following limits will be in play:
Incoming:
- The limit at which a city will reach Chaos has been increased to 124 incoming attacks
- A city may only receive 51 simultaneous incoming Support marches
Outgoing:
- A city may only have 25 simultaneous outgoing marches
Other Limits:
- A player may only send up to 40 simultaneous attacks to each city belonging to another player
- A Guild may only send up to 41 simultaneous attacks (aggregate among all members) against any one city
Banning:
No doubt the biggest change, though, is the fact that intentional exploitation of Chaos (in worlds 75+) will put you at risk of a ban. We receive notification whenever Chaos occurs. And we will be looking at the context and undertaking appropriate action. If you Chaos, you will receive a warning message via in-game mail. If you do it again, you will receive a ban.
Map Improvements
Since updating to Valor 2.0, some of you have been reporting that you are experiencing slow gameplay, particularly with regard to navigating the Map. We identified and implemented a solution that will improve performance for you in this area.
If you have been experiencing the above, please restart the app so this can kick in. Don’t just close/reopen Valor, instead you’ll need to do a full multi-tasking quit before you relaunch Valor in order for it to apply to your game.
How to perform a multi-task quit:
While on the home screen, double click the home button on your iOS device. A menu will appear at the bottom of the screen featuring the most recently used apps. Locate Valor, press and hold, then press the "minus" symbol that appears. Press the home button again to return to the home screen, wait for a few seconds, then relaunch Valor as normal.
Thanks for being patient as we worked on this. Please let us know if you have any questions on how to do what is detailed above.
