Will there be any answer from PM to our point?
The buildings i was able to start (at a very late point of time compared to some lucky one) have not been ghost buildings as some suggested here.
So we still have the unfair conditions for some lucky ones and the big majority.

So I had this great plan to kill some scholars that were inbound, my attacker is obviously not that experienced, and set up to wipe two out of four of his/her scholars. So about three hours before she hits (city was abandoned for clearing waves) I prepare to return my troops. Mind you, there are no scouts in these attacks (spent gold to see what she was sending) so he/she has no idea that I have troops outside the city. Then the system crashed. Somewhere the world is churning on deep in some server, but I can not move to defend my beloved city. My attacker has only sent four scholars and sent the first wave of two a couple of hours before the second, giving too much time between them and making it far too easy to ambush them. Anyway, all the attacks make it through, and they get me down to about 15 loyalty my loyalty has since built back up to around 75 but this would not be an issue otherwise.

Moral of this story?
