This will be the constantly updated Valor Server Status Thread

4/22/13 at 17:38 hours: Valor is currently down. ETA to follow when available.

18:20 hours: Server team is still working on the issue and no ETA is currently available.

19:05 hours: Issue still being worked on, no eta available.

20:30 hours: We're still investigating the issue. Right now, we're not sure when it will be resolved, but we will keep you posted as we gather more information.

21:26 hours: The issue causing this server outage continues to be worked on. Thank you for your patience until that has been resolved.

4/23/13

00:06 hours: Server team continues to work on the outage. No ETA currently available.

3:02 hours: Work continues on the servers. Next update will happen once an ETA is known.

5:30 hours: The server team will be working through the night (since we are located in PST) in order to get the servers back up. Another update will occur when a solid ETA is reached. Thank you again for your patience for this server downtime.

17:30 hours: Work continues on the Valor servers. No ETA is currently available.

21:05 hours: Server team continues to work on the issues causing Valor to remain down. There will be additional information available hopefully later today.

01:00 hours:

Valor Players,

Yesterday at approximately 10:15AM pacific-standard time, we experienced a server hardware failure at our colocation facility in North Carolina, causing a disruption in the Valor game service. We have deployed every available internal engineering resource to help resolve this issue and bring the game servers back online; We want to get everyone back in and playing the game as soon as possible.

Stay tuned as we will be updating the Website, Forums, and Social Media Channels periodically as more details become available. Thank you very much for your patience and understanding during this situation.

07:13 hours: The server team continues to work on the issue and once there is more information available it will be posted here.

17:23 hours: Progress continues to be made on the server. Thank you for your continued patience with this. To dispel one rumor I see going around, Valor will be returning. It is just a question of when exactly the server will be back up.

We understand that there are concerns that your in-game player data may have been lost during the hardware failure we experienced on Monday. We have not experienced a loss of in-game player data.

We are continuing to work diligently to bring the Valor game service back online and hope to provide a more detailed update regarding the status of our efforts later today.

Valorians,

I want to take this opportunity to personally update the community as to what's happening with Valor. As you know, we suffered a hardware failure early Monday morning which took Valor offline. After identifying the issue, we worked day and night to get the servers back online and the hardware restored.

This morning at around 2:00am PST, we managed to temporarily bring the servers back online for a small group of users. We were incredibly hopeful at that time that we would be able to get the game up and running. Unfortunately, some technical issues arose regarding handling a larger influx of players.

We worked through the night and I am pleased to report that we have brought the servers back online.

This is the longest period of time that Valor has been consecutively down and for that please accept my sincerest apology on behalf of Quark Games.

When we founded Quark Games our goal was an unwavering commitment to our players and the games we make. Above all, know that it's you, the players, that keep us going during hard times like these. That said, as a thank you for sticking with us during this downtime, we are presenting all players who have logged in at least once since April 15th with the following:

100 Gold
Wood Booster (+25% wood production for 7 days in all worlds)
Clay Booster (+25% clay production for 7 days in all worlds)
Iron Booster (+25% iron production for 7 days in all worlds)

You should expect to receive these items in the next few days. Once again, I apologize for the interruption and thank you for sticking with us through this.

Once the server goes back up all players with any sort of subscription item (boosters, queue extender, etc) will have that automatically extended for the time lost.
