So I was thinking... Why do battles always end in one player losing everything in Valor??? When I send troops somewhere, it's either me or the other person loses all troops. I started to have an idea that since in real life, no one just rushes in and fights till everyone is dead. You should be able to put how many troops go in. So say I send 100 troops. I can set it so that if 50 die then the rest retreat. They don't bring back info or resources but they don't die. Also, I'll send in like 500 berserkers and 70 guardians. Somehow I lose 300 berserkers and 50 guardians! I think that the player should have to set the order in which the troops attack. That way you save your more valuable troops.

If you send an attack you should be prepared to lose all of your troops. If you consider a troop valuable don't send them in the first clearing wave. Save them for your scholar when most of their troops have been destroyed. Also if you only want to lose 50 units then only send 50 units to attack. Only send what you are prepared to rebuild for another attack.
I agree with hiitsmeeeeeee. My stance has almost always been if you send troops, be prepared for anything. Me personally, I will send close to 50k zerks, 3k guards, and 5 scholars per city. Sometimes more. Rarely do they all die but I am prepared for if they all do. I also send my guardians with scholars only. And when first starting I don't send more than I can afford to lose
