World players

As I'm sure your all aware the world population always goes to 58k. This troubles me because after a week the number can't be more Than 30k alive.

What I think would be great is whenever a player barbs or is killed then the number drops. It would intrest me how many people's still play worlds like w2 or even 84

Of course for this to work there would need to be a cut of at like 10k because of everyone who just joins the world then does nothing.

yes. if thye do not check in for a month they will barb out automatically

That doesn't affect the world count though. The world count only seems to go up, even on some closed worlds I've noticed it go up 1 at a time every few days, probably players going through and using the join closed worlds trick to get 5 free gold for use in w100. (World 75 has gone from 58,599 to 59,003 over the past 2 weeks).

I think it would be cool to have the world count show the number of people left in the world, or even cooler would be like most xbox live games have, how many people active within the last 24 hours.

Agreed. Wouldn't mind knowing how many people are actually playing old worlds daily like w22
