Sister Guilds

Postby Pepito80 » Sun Dec 25, 2011 12:24 am

Siste guilds in my opinion are a big way to becoming a more hostile guild, especially in places that have a guild member cap of about 25, i think that there should be some process done when creating a sister guild that allows it so that the forums merge and maybe one of your crowns go over, just for a little more controll over your sister guild, especially in a time f war, and the forums merging would make it MUCH easier to communicate through all guilds simoultaniously (terribly misspelled) and also, sister guilds should also be the deep blue that your guild is, seeing as they are practiaclly the same, just some thoughts on sister guilds x)

If the forums are merged then what is the point of caps for guilds?

Communication is easily the most powerful weapon that any guild has during war. Sister guilds is a partial way around guild limits, but keeping the communication limited is a way of limiting the power of large guild alliances.

For that reason I would oppose this suggestion. While it sounds good in theory, all it does is remove the point of limiting guild sizes. If forum merging is desired then my recommendation would be to go the far simpler route of removing guild caps altogether. If 2 guilds wanted to ally then they could simply merge.

No thats different in my opinion, here you have thoughts and attack plans being spread, same as if uou were to tell your aister guild to make a forum about it, or give sister guilds or at least being able to create one joint post, like a war post although removing Guild cap would be like combing to 50member guilds, then you have 100 people, and they can still continue to recruit, im hust asking for easier communication

Maybe within the forums the guilds can be separated into their own major forum that isn't necessarily combined but accessible to everyone in the sisterhood.

Also... With this all being said. A 'chat' in game would be amazing. As well as a regional and world chat. This sounds pretty data intensive, but hey, it's be sweet and a great way to talk smack and start wars haha

A guild chat feature is something that I have seen suggested a couple times. I think personally it would be a pretty cool feature.
