You would have to double check on the Apple website but I believe it can be used for in app purchases.

Taken off the apple website. So if you dont have a credit card you should be able to buy valor gold with an itunes gift card

http://www.apple.com/ca/itunes/gifts/

iTunes Cards are the perfect way to give the gift of entertainment. You can buy them in different styles and denominations from Apple and from thousands of other retailers. And no matter which card you give, recipients can*redeem it for whatever they want to buy — songs, movies, TV shows, apps, games, books and more.

Hmm, check the store dude, there are 15 min, 1 hour, 4 hour and 8 hour speed ups so they already "outplace us" i heard this game was fair and equal, no matter what we do we will never catch up to the rich dudes!
In TIBERIUS they already have cities!!
So my speed ups suck!!!

Hey Orlor, would you mind giving us some insight into why exactly we can't use multiple speed-ups? I don't care either way, I'm just curious about the thought process behind it.

I will have to double check but I believe the intent is to pace the game.

Lets take the Academy for example that takes twenty four hours to build.

Even with using an eight hour speed up it takes a full sixteen hours to build. If multiple speed ups were allowed it would be possible for someone to have a scholar (then ability to conquer another city) a full sixteen hours earlier.

That being said, speed ups user usually get academies 2-3 days or 1 week before normal users......
So either way they do get it sooner!

Right, but Orlor's point, if I get it correctly, is that given enough resources, you could get it instantly. So instead of 2-3 days or a week, think more like a couple of weeks. Basically, the amount of time it takes to get the resources. Which you can actually pay for as well. Therefore, not allowing multiple speedups actually slows paying players down to a point where a dedicated free gamer would only be a few days behind.
