Many of us experienced players buy gold to keep up with those players who live in their parents basements and play 24/7.

are you kidding me? i play once every two days and i still keep up more or less with the gold buyers :) i dont care about the points as much as loyalty to your guild and frineds. cuz no matter how much gold you buy it just makes you that much more of a target. thats my opinion since ive never bought gold

This may seem too revolutionary an idea, but what about a player who buys gold AND plays 24/7? Wouldn't that be magical...*sigh*
