Supporting a capped city

If I send x waves to cap a city and after capping it I still have a wave incomming, I would like them to show some sentience and support MY city rather than plundering it !! (or capping it again).

Not only would this be more sensible it would allow me to schedule support to arrive after I attack and take a city, which I would do...as a discerning general

Ummm.... That would be kind of weird to send let's say 5 waves to a city, and if you are able to cap it in 4 waves, then to have the 5th wave all of a sudden become support instead of the attack that it was meant to be.

Why would it be wierd? Don't you think that, were we to imagine this being "real," that when soldiers reach their target, and realize that their kingdom already took it over, that they would just, y'know, NOT attack their own city?

At the very least, just auto-cancel the attack if it suddenly becomes friendly.

This is a very good idea. The attacking troops should become support troops. If there is a scholar in the attack and there is no academy in the captured city the scholar should go home.

Not a good idia
Its part of battle evaluations
(but fixing some bugs that can not be taken into consideretion they happen rendomly and wast all 5 scholars without reason)
