I cant revoke my lvl 1 lancer research...
I never even researched it,it came with my city and i cant get rid of it which is preventing me from having ballistae!!!
I want ballistae! Not lancers!
Playmesh...plz fix this

It's been like his for a while. I agree it's annoying. I don't want lancers. I want level 3 scouts, guardians, ballistas, and level 1 rams. Or other troops depending on what that city specializes in.

You are required to be able to have a level 1 lancer as this is the first research point that is preassigned to you for starting purposes.
If this was not the case then you would not be able to build any units at all when you first start playing. You would have to build a forge, barracks and research before you were able to build a single unit.

While i can understand your desire to change your build and remove this one point, it cannot be removed.

Yeah, build a forge a research the troops you want. I don't see why we have to have lancers. You wouldn't be able to build troops until you researched something. It doesn't take long to build a forge. ??

It's good to have the level 1 lancer to start with but why can't we be allowed to revoke that research for something else which we prefer later on.

Maybe you should be able to revoke this as sometimes is a waste of a point!!! .. There are many things wrong with valour like not having level 3 when you support somone.. So annoying!!

Or... They could up the maximum number of techs, so it's less restricting.

No, they have lvl 1 lancers so you are able to build troops and attack barbs, the ability to take away and reassign techs should be an item bought with gold and gold should be changed to 100 per USD. And any other equivalent.

No being able to revoke is not something you should have to pay gold for
Maybe lock lancers to level 1 in your starting city but be able to revoke in conquered cities would somehow work or just be able to revoke as with any research.

I'm guessing most players will start off training lancers in their starting city as it's the only troop they can train early on and they will want to farm so this minor change wouldn't affect early gameplay just mid to late.

Or make lvl 1 lancer not even count as a research since you really did not have to research it. lol. make you pay gold to change your researchs then for later on when your stacked. or to buy and extra research. I am thinking for Valor more or less.
