Excel or Numbers download/upload

Given how much time it takes to go through all the cities, including update times, can you have an export status button that emails you an organized Spreadsheet of all data in all cities. Then, if the spreadsheet could be uploaded with all your city commands, that wld be awesome and much easier to manage large empires. Just hit 50 cities and time to simply go through cities is making the game harder to justify

I agree with the problem as I am at 216 cities. Takes me 7-8 hours to go through them all. Exporting to excel is a sloppy step to need to go through.

Instead, I would implement mayors for players when they hit a certain level of cities. Create and ideal city and the mayor would build to match that. One could even have an A,B,C ideals that could be set up. Offense, Defense, Farming. This would certainly create less work and tedium.

I like the Mayor Concept, especially once a city is set up. As to the Farmers, make them maurauders, they go across the country side selecting their own barb targets within parameters you set. E.g., no Barbs over 11k (so you dont mistakenly hit a maxed out, barbed city), and none less than 10k, so you dont waste your time, and no more than 1 hour away. This way, they keep going until warehouse is full!

I like this automated commander idea. It would allow the user to look at the big picture and coordinate without having to micromanage

If farming was automatic, why have farming at all?

It gives the advantage to the big player. Just capture a starter or barb and forget.

The smaller person would not be able to compete with that kind of automation.
