Testing worlds

Valor should create a seperate set of worlds where ideas are tested to see how the general population likes the possible addition to the game. That way they could try out ideas without the risk of ruining the game causing people to quit. Then after a pre-determined period of time the players in that world could vote on that idea and if the votes are high enough in favor of the change (say %75) it is implemented onto the rest of the worlds.

The one main issue I can think of is if the new feature is at a point where we feel comfortable to release it to the public, it is something we have already decided on releasing.

We definitely want your input on new features when we announce or release them, but this idea sounds a lot like what we do internally already.

I would like to add something to the first post. Other games, software, etc. call it a beta version and only a small group of selected people is allowed to try it. The people are chosen from every catagory. Like for example one tester would be strong and one would be weak or one would be experienced and one would be playing on his first world

Orlor said that they have people that do this. Plus look in the jobs section of the forums. There is a beta tester position. And I'm sure it's been filled
