So let's say in a future update u see the path of previous attacks and support. U then are able to drag a red dot to where u want near the paths and whenever an army comes by th marker ur troops ambush them so u could reduce the amount of troops before they hit there destination

The more traveled paths become a darker and darker color as they are traveled on more

I'm sorry. What? I'm not quite sure I understand what what you're saying. Please expound on your idea. Are you suggesting that your army fight others on the way? Or are you just suggesting that you can draw your own line of travel?

Ok. My only two questions are these: 1. Why would you do this? It uses up commanders and frankly doesn't make a lot of sense to me. and 2. What are the chances of you placing an army and another army running into you?

the answer to number 2 is vary rarely. How would this make the game better if 1 player could just safeguard his/her biggest cities with troops from tiny ones. This would make it harder to capture cities this reducing the whole point of this game- to crush your enemies and make them beg for mercy.

That makes no sense. Placing troops in a city you can get a combined effect and you get wall bonuses, even if it is a lvl 5 wall.

You could use ATTACK troops, but I foresee Oops! And megalag.
