There should be a scholar count next to each city listed in portal. The current system of going to each city's rally point is tedious and overly time consuming

That would ruin the element of surprise if you are attacked by that person and you knew how many scholars he was using

He is saying so you can see how many scholars you have in each city. Not anybody else's cities
