Toggle off Looting

There should be a toggle where you can turn off looting. It is annoying to conquer cities and having to wait for resources to replenish because you looted the city bankrupt.

Around here we like to call that toggle "the market," but I suppose, if you can't wait 5 minutes to a few hours to send resources, then you are stuck at whatever the resource buildings are going to produce (which isn't really any different from your original city).

Might be a viable reason to target a city that has a high level hiding place, haha.

Nice sarcasm there. But your answer to this time consuming game is to... Spend even more time going from city to city sending supplies to a newly conquered city thirty hours away. Great advice there. Why not just admit that in war it nobody would strip a new conquest dry when they take it over and that didn't occur to you?

Not so! You send too many thirsty men to a city they'll drink it dry.
Use lower carrying capacity troops for late clears and escorts, and don't send so many if you're worried about resources.
ie zerks and guardians on a per head basis
