Upgrade in progress indication on the city hall screen

I've just started playing. (Great game and Great forum app, well done.)
When upgrading or building I know it apears in the queue at the top of the list but it would be helpful if there was an indication next to the building in the list, maybe an UP arrow to show that it is already in the upgrade/build queue.
