Revoke lancer training?

Postby Walkerboh » Sun Apr 01, 2012 2:26 pm

I have played on 2 3 tier training servers and I am wondering why I always have to use 1 of my 10 training points for lancers? I should be able to revoke that as long as I have some other troops researched to level 1.

Can't you revoke it at cities you conquer though?

Nope. All 13 of my cities have at least level 1 lancer training and I can't revoke any of them. This effectively means I have 9 research points to play with, not 10. Should be an easy fix, and should be fixed ASAP.

No one cares?

No one else is bothered by this? You are forced to use 10% of your research points on lancers in every city you own from now until the end of time?

I believe in an earlier thread it was mentioned that this was to prevent defenseless cities.

If the issue is not having a defenseless city, then make it where at least one point must be allocated. For example, once you train L1 berzerkers, you can then revoke the lancer training. I don't use lancers in most cities and being forced to have one point on them is really stupid.

I would argue that lancers are very usefull. This is because they are extremely cheap to produce so the can be used as fodder to overwhelm the enemy's defence as well as provide a core defence for your own cities.

I totally agree, we should be able to revoke lancers, people should be ablt to choose what THEY want
