I am able to play on HD right now. Whats the screen or error message you can't get past?
Anytime you aren't able to connect or get something strange going on doing a re install is the first step I would take.
If it still doesn't work after that, I would contact our support team.

my solution
This has happened to me several times. When I cannot get on Valor, here is what I do. Unfortunately, this happens several times a week. But at least I know a fix.
Reset your iPad.
General --> Settings --> Reset.
Choose the reset option that does NOT delete data or apps.
This has saved my game several times.
