My num of scolarsi can educate went from 0 to -6. When i was at scolar lvl 36 i got robbed when i bought my last scolarship it reset and kept the rec.

I have a similar problem in world 60
I had a scholar limit of 10, with 2 conquered cities and 8 scholars. I sent 5 on a battle, the loyalty was low so actually took it over with the 3rd. The 4th and 5the were consumed after The third took the city. The enemy must have had one scolar on a march because it became
Mine on its way back making my scholars available -1... Though it should have been higher because of two dead scholars. I used this scolar, took a nearby city before This city was lost later leaving me with:
Scholar limit 10.
5 living scholars (4 in One city, 1 in another),
and 3 conquered cities. However I have 0 slots available. I should have 2 available slots.

Any ideas?

i have same problem too. i m player from W55. My user name in the game is Pakchung. i took one city in my world using several scholar waves. This city is took by 5th scholar wave. However, this city is still under my additional twice attack. When the last scholar waves arrive, they conqueror my owe city again and it kill my troops myself. It also consume one scholar again. i discover that there are forur existing scholars of mine but i only can find three scholars totally. The number of scholars i can educate is -1

I had 2 scholars then 1 got killed by unfortunate events. In the academy at bottom it shows

"existing scholars - 2"

Bugged. Please help me as this is a huge loss since I now need scholarships before even replacing said dead scholar.

Hi i am on w47 I had another problem concerning attacks when you send 5 scholars to concord a city sometime the scholar number 4 make the job and you concord the city but the schollar number 5 make another attack and concord a city that u own now and let you loose another scholar for the same city

That is the way the game mechanics currently work. If you send more then four scholars there is a chance that the fifth will re conquer the city, thus costing you two scholars for that city.

We get it's the mechanics, it's just stupid. Even if we were to lose more than one scholar, we should not lose the scholar slot at the very least.

The scholar slot shouldn't be lost, that's a bug. The scholar should be, however. My guess is that the conquered city is counted twice, as two separate cities, and thus decreases scholar cap by two.
