I'm about to upgrade my phones version, my carrier is Verizon.. They said if I upgrade my phone it has to be master reset first.. And that means all my personal data including the game will erase.. How can I upgrade my phone and get my valor account back will all my cities troops ect..?

Don't quote me but I believe once you associate an email address with the game you can restore the game and not lose anything. Look in setting by clicking the question mark then then gear. Check you have registered an email address. If not do so before you change phones. Then when you add the game to the new phone enter your email address and I think everthing should sync back up. I could be wrong though.

Of course you can also restore from a backup and get it back that way too.

I dont understand why you are going to go to Verizon to do this. Te update from iOS 4.x to 5.x can be done at home. If you are upgrading the actual phone from one actual device to another actual device then you will need to link the game to an email address. (e.g. iPhone 2G to iPhone 4 or 4s)
If its just upgrading from iOS 4 to 5 then you shouldn't need to do anything.

What exactly are you doing? Please be very specific because it does make a difference.

I think he means if he updates the software, the phone will do a master reset to complete this. Yes this is true, but your iTunes creates a backup and it will automatically sync all your do***ents and data so you don't lose anything

I think you download the valor app onto your Iphone and login to your account in the world where your city(ies) are.
