Called Amazon to voice my frustration. They seemed receptive to the information and are "working on it". They said it was a known issue (no mention of an expedited solution).
Given the extra time I find myself with, I will call them everyday until this issue is resolved. Give Orlor a little break from our complaining ;-)

Pretty quick response from Amazon:
Hello,
I'm sorry for the inconvenience caused.
We'll need to look into the problem with Valor app a little more deeply. I've contacted our technical specialists who should be able to provide further guidance.
Situations such as this are rare, and our goal is to help resolve any problems you encounter as quickly as possible. I'm sorry I was unable to solve this problem more quickly and will write back as soon as a resolution is available.
Customer feedback like yours really helps us continue to improve our products and provide better service to our customers. I've passed your suggestion to the Appstore team for consideration as we make future improvements.
Thanks for your patience as we work to resolve this.

I followed it up with the following email as well:
Greetings,
I have been playing the Android version of the game "Valor" by PlayMesh for several months now and have spent quite a bit of money on it. As of Sunday, we Android users cannot access the game. My understanding is that there is some sort of submission process that PlayMesh has requested an expedited review for and that Amazon has denied. If this is the case, then this is delaying me accessing this game. They claim I can't play the game from 1-2 days after they submit it (hopefully later today) to upwards of a week or whenever the Amazon review team has time to check it out. The Android Valor players are not too happy as this is a competitive game (the game continues on and Apple users are still able to access this game).
I have just called to voice my frustration as my $100+ dollars of in app purchases (plus a lot of my time which I cannot put a price on) is basically being reduced to nothing the longer this takes. I would like to ask that you please mark their submission as an urgent request to be approved by whomever needs to do this.
Many of us are contemplating not playing the game, and therefore not spending money, because of this issue. I am personally thinking this may affect my overall Amazon business on both the retail and digital side of things if not resolved in a favorable way (my call yielded a $10 credit which is almost more of an insult when you consider what I have spent and what my time is worth). I, and others, are urging Android users to write Amazon with this complaint/request. Please keep our faith in the high standards of customer service that we are accustomed to from Amazon.
Thank You
(I stole a bit from you lordrickard...hope you dont mind)

So let me get this straight. If I don't download and login as soon as its up I'll be able to be attacked anyway? I thought maybe we could put in a ticket within the first 24 hours to get the truce released to allow people in all time zones to not have to be dropped on our ass when we might not be ready after 5 days of no game play in our schedules...
