Hiw to collect resources from invading other cities

I've been invading other cities but have not been gotten a lot of resources? Why?

Lower level cities ac***ulate resources at a lower rate as they have lower level production buildings. They also have lower level warehouses.
This means they make resources slower and store less of it that a large city.

If you want to farm other cities you should be sending your troops to higher level cities. That or send them out less frequently.
