I was talking about politeness as an approach, that doesn't mean you just give in to other player's demands. I just think crowns should have a higher level of communication and understanding of diplomacy than use (often empty) threats. It is a part of the game that is overlooked in my opinion. One example of bad diplomacy is also crowns making alliances left and right until there is no targets in your region. Those alliances are also empty because people don't accept the responsibilities of having an ally rather than just nap. This makes the game too easy and too one-dimensional in my opinion because it reduces the amount of players and guilds you can conquer.
And you don't need pretext to attack a player or a guild. This is a war game. You make relations only with strong and active guilds and consume the weaker ones.

I don't think there is a real way to guide players on diplomacy. most diplomatic moves are based on player chemistry and crown style. some believe the best route is 5073 guilds to try to rule a world. some see few against many as the path forward. and most of all, diplomacy is set on player reputation. trying to make a guide for that is nearly impossible. the only way you can learn that technique is through experience and a bit of "trial and error."

Are those guides for ios or andriod users? I been trying to read up and learn the basics but i read one thing and the next contradicts what was said because of ios and android. Most that i have read don't say which one they are for. Plus, when i do go to strictly the andriod blogs or forums i do not get much useful info from them. Im sorry, i am one of those noobs but im trying to learn. Just need a little help in the right direction
