I'm getting the message 'forum temporarily unavailable' is this due to playmesh making changes or is it a glitch ?

I'm getting it too. Also markets don't work

The markets part is crippling me because you can't transfer resources between cities. If this goes on much longer I will be losing resources because I'll be full of wood in one city without clay and full of clay in the other without wood!!!

There was an issue that caused us to disable those features for a period of time.

They should be back up and running now.
