Join a guild for protection.

What Stark said is for the most part correct.

Being part of a guild is a good way to prevent being constantly farmed. Guilds are based a lot on location so try and make one with people near you.

Well that is unless one of your co-workers/guild mates decides to attack one of the worlds biggest guilds. Then that guild sends everything they have at your entire guild and pretty much wipes your guild from the map. Just as a random example.

Although it may be hopeless. The best you can do is join a guild. Better yet, build your hiding place to hide your resources, and use those resources to build troops. This way the attacker keeps losing troops as he farms you and gets nothing from his haul. That should irritate the heck outta him. Keep this up and he should eventually give up on farming you.

Regarding your troops, why not keep them in someone else's village until you have enough to properly defend - just send them as support (or send them out before each attack, but this requires you to be on for them!)
You can do a similar thing with resources, by putting them on the market for a ridiculous price, or spending them all on production before each attack and then cancelling afterwards to regain the resources.
If you make yourself a pain to farm, they'll leave you alone.

You could also restart. I might suggest starting over by moving to a new world, perhaps a slow one as things are less hectic. If you start over you get beginners protection again :D

I agree w/ Gilictic. Good info PJF. Would anyone please tell me why I lose troops vs an unprotected town w/ NO walls? Also, why do you lose more troops when you increase the amount of troops sent?

Wow, Stark, that was a good response. Keep in mind, that in real life, the village is still inhabited by a few barbs, and some of your soldiers get drunk, trip, and die on their way back.
