You can - you just can't see it. Folks on iOS can when they look at your profile though.

Send a proof that's you're on the army, to Quark by mail, and they'll give you the medal

By mail...ok. Ill see if i can make it down to the mail room some time when theyre open. Its presidents day so im pretty sure theyre closed right now.

oh, is this an army specific guild or any branch? I know the Soldier of Valor medal is generic to all branches...or at least im pretty sure

No - via email. Military@quarkgames.com is the address. Send in a picture of yourself in uniform, and that's all you need.
