No resources from farms

I farm 3-4 times a day on a 4-6 hour cycle. So I just sent all my knights out to get the groceries from 2 seperate villages. 1st village was as per normal with each sorte bringing in 638 each resource. However all my 2nd village sorte's game back with empty shopping bags.. That's 0 resources! Now the resources obviously regenerate and when I sent a knight sorte back to one of the 'empty' villages, they came back with the expected amount of resources. So my question is, why were the shelves empty before??

.. And yes I did check, there were no holes in the bags

Perhaps someone else cleaned the shelves out, just before you got there? ie: someone else farmed your village...

Sometimes the barbarian cities do build in an anti farm way. Their hiding place will be a much higher level than their warehouse. This can cause every single one of their resources is to be protected.

You could use ballistics to demolish their hiding place some.

@Orlor: I thought that the Hiding Place was immune from ballista attack? Or has that changed in the game?

They might be. Haven't really tried to demolish one in a while.

Happens when I post on the weekend and can't turn around to poke a dev and confirm things.
