Deleting Valor after loading ValorHD

Can you delete Valor after loading ValorHD? When I tried it said I would delete all my game data.
It this true? I don't need both versions on my iPad2.

Yes you can go ahead and delete Valor. Valor HD will still have all of your account information on it.
