Problem with sending invites

Is anyone out there having a problem sending invites. I have a potential new member who I have sent an invite but he says there is no invitation to view.

Ask him to refresh Valor.
For support in game, please go to:
Portal > ? (Question Mark - Upper right of the screen) > Support > Mail Icon

Without trying to beig insulting but I'm assuming you have double checked the spelling, and the new recruit has checked the guild tab, as invites don't go to your inbox but to that tab.
Don't take offence but I had I ask.
