How do i send support troops to my ally? I have been trying to but it says since he is not part of my guild I can't. Since it says that then, how do I get support troops to him?

You can only support your own guild mates. If you wish to support an ally, one of you will need to join the other guild to send the support. Then whoever swapped can go back to original guild. Your troops will continue to support your ally until they send them back or you recall even though you are now in separate guilds now.
